Sesame Street Let’s Rock Elmo Review

Every Christmas Elmo from Hasboro reinvents himself like Madonna, and this year is no different. This Christmas hot toy is the Sesame Street Let’s Rock Elmo. He comes with three instruments which are the drums, the tambourine and the microphone. There are actually three ways you can play with Elmo. Your kids can select any one of the instruments and place them in front of Elmo. He will automatically know which instrument is in front of him and he will play the appropriate song.

Your kids can also play with Elmo’s instruments, or they can use the instruments that are sold separately which are the guitar, microphone and the keyboard. With all these instruments playing together your kids and Elmo can make their own band. All the instruments are made to automatically synchronize with Elmo and therefore play a number of songs. When you switch him on by turning the switch at the bottom of his feet, he says ‘Let’s Rock’ and then he says which instrument he want to play ‘Elmo wants to play the drums’. You simply put the drums in front of him and Elmo goes wild on them.

As he plays the instrument, Elmo will also sing along to the song. If you take away the instrument he was playing, he will tell you to play the instrument instead. You can then put another instrument in his hand, for example the microphone. He will make a joke like ‘Testing, testing is this thing on’. If your kid then picks up another one of the free standing separately sold instruments all they need to do is play it and Elmo will recognize what instrument it is. He will say something like ‘You’ve got a guitar’

Sesame Street Let’s Rock Elmo will sing and play 6 songs altogether. The toy comes with six temporary AA batteries that you need to replace as soon as they are done. Elmo is recommended for kids who are from 18 months all the way up to four years old. This Christmas your kids will have hours of fun Rocking out with this LET’S ROCK Elmo! He comes wearing a concert design t-shirt. Elmo will take the stage to sing and make some music – and your preschoolers can join him too!
